I&S Policy
I&S covers scientific, technological, organizational, and policy issues related to national, international, and societal security in the Information age, C4ISR technologies and systems, information operations, and cyber security. The Journal provides a forum for exchange of information on the state of the art, new findings, novel ideas and requirements of IT and security professionals and presents latest research, conducted ‘on the bridge’ between the two communities.
The journal is published in English four times a year in print (ISSN 0861-5160, previously 1311-1493) and online (ISSN 1314-2119). Each volume covers a specific topic and is edited by a member of the Editorial Board or by a Guest Editor.
I&S is an open access journal. I&S abstracts and full-text articles are freely available on the public internet, permitting any user to read, download, search, or link to the full texts of I&S articles at their original location on the I&S website, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself. Limited printing, photocopying and distribution for personal or educational use are permitted, too.
I&S is available in major world libraries. For subscriptions or acquisition of individual hard copies please send a request to the Managing Editor. I&S content is disseminated by aggregators such as ProQuest and EBSCO. The journal is indexed in numerous directories and databases.
Contributions to I&S shall be prepared according to the following instructions. All accepted manuscripts are edited for adherence to Journal format and style, clarity, syntax, and punctuation. Authors must transfer copyright in writing to the publisher when an article is accepted for publication. Please check also the publisher’s copyright policy.
